Solana Roivert
Meet the Winery
The story behind our wines
For centuries, wine has been part of the history of Salàs de Pallars. In an era when every house in the village transformed into an inn during the legendary livestock fair, locals competed to offer their best wines to visitors.
Today, Solana Roivert embodies this heritage with a commitment to upholding this cultural tradition, in which wine serves as a bond for sharing and building relationships. Drawing on ancient family vineyards, the project re-establishes a connection with the land and the history of the region, breathing new life into a mountain wine-growing landscape with a centuries-old legacy.
Today, this heritage is combined with a contemporary outlook, based on traditional winemaking practices from the Pyrenees of Lleida, integrated with enological innovation and a deep respect for nature. The result is wines that connect past and present and that express, with authenticity, the unique character of the Pyrenees of Lleida.
A territory with its own identity
DO Costers del Segre
Location
Located in Salàs de Pallars, in the Lleida Pyrenees, our vineyards are part of the DO Costers del Segre. A region with centuries of winemaking tradition, where landscape, history, and wine culture remain deeply connected.
Altitude
The vineyards are situated between 600 and 700 metres in altitude, which promotes slow and balanced ripening. This condition imparts freshness, elegance, and greater aromatic complexity to our wines.
Weather
Mountain climates create a strong thermal contrast between day and night, with differences of up to 15-20 °C. This factor is key to preserving the natural acidity of the grape and enhancing its aromatic expression.
Soils
The dominant soils are clay-loam with rounded stones and a limestone base, which contribute minerality, structure, and excellent drainage. In some plots, there are also sandier areas that enrich the vineyard's diversity.
Our brewing philosophy
At Solana Roivert, we see wine as the union of history, terroir and expertise. Our winemaking approach draws inspiration from the winemaking traditions of the Lleida Pyrenees, reviving age-old practices that form part of the region’s identity and reinterpreting them through a modern lens that is both more precise and respectful.
On this basis, we incorporate modern minimal intervention techniques that allow us to preserve the natural expression of the grape to the maximum. We work with spontaneous fermentations, native yeasts and low-intervention processes, with the aim of producing honest wines with character and deeply linked to their origin.
All this, under a firm commitment to health and nature, minimising the use of additives and respecting the vineyard's rhythms. The result is wines that balance pleasure, authenticity and respect for the environment, faithfully reflecting the mountain landscape from which they originate.

A space where wine and nature coexist
Solana Roivert is much more than just a winery: it is a space designed to blend into the landscape and respect its surroundings. Our new winery, built in 2024 right in the heart of the vineyard, was conceived with a clear commitment to sustainability, being entirely eco-friendly and energy self-sufficient.
This commitment extends to every detail of the project, backed by certifications that recognise our dedication to quality, the land, and responsible viticulture.
